We have had a positive few weeks since getting back racing since the big freeze and racing being abandoned.
A big shoutout to the staff and all involved here at Conkwell Lodge keeping the show on the road during the big freeze and cold conditions.
The 15th of January saw us have a nice double with Starcrossed lover winning the Dragonbet supporting british racing novices hurdle over 2m on soft ground, winning by a massive 17L under a great ride from James Bowen at Hereford, whilst Bucephalus won the Grosvenor sport handicap hurdle under Harriet Tucker a 7lb claimer in the yard who recently joined us in late December, so a massive well done to her for getting a winner for us here at Conkwell, first ones out the way lets hope for plenty more!!!
We have been lucky with the rest of the horses that have been running we have had lots of placed horses.
Today we have 2 horses heading off to Doncaster Military Tycoon and Bel Ombre, Richie Mclernon and Conor O’Farrell taking the rides.
Tomorrow sees a big day when Transmission heads off to Cheltenham for the Betfair Cleeve Hurdle (Grade 2) with Conor O’Farrell in the saddle.
