About
Welcome to Neil Mulholland Racing at Conkwell Lodge Racing Stables just outside of Bath, Wiltshire. Moving here has given us the opportunity to develop a state of the art training facility that gets the best out of the horses stabled here in our beautiful 125 acres of grassland and 25 acres of woodland.
After moving here in 2012 with my wife Becky our family has grown. We are kept busy by our three sons - Patrick, Conor and our youngest Finn. They enjoy mucking in and helping out with the horses and I’m very lucky to have such wonderful support from my wife and family.
The horses we train have access to woodland, grass and an all-weather gallops. The acreage of land enables our horses to have plenty of variety in their training; something we take very seriously at Conkwell Lodge.
Our training facility comprises of a four and half furlong carpet based hill gallop; this allows our horses to be conditioned fully to run and build strength and stamina. Further, we have a seven furlong flat gallop which allows us to train all year round. When training is done we are able to turn them out to recuperate after a run, or when out of training, or on their summer holidays.
Finally, none of this would be possible without my dedicated and committed team. All our staff take the welfare of our horses extremely seriously. We try to keep on improving the facilities when and where we can. At Conkwell Lodge we give attention to detail to each and every racehorse but I need a good team to help me to reach each horse’s potential, so please have a look at the staff page to see the backbone of Neil Mulholland Racing.

Tori Anstey
Equine Sports Therapist
Tori is a valuable asset to our team here at Conkwell, treating all of our horses and keeping them supple, and sound, and feeling well.
Using a mixture of the techniques she is qualified in, keeps our horses soft and loose and moving well through their bodies. This helps to stop problems before they arise, maintaining them during training and running, and of course treating those with issues that arise during training or after a race, just like you would any human athlete, so they preform at their very best. The added bonus is our horses adore being treated by Tori and all come away feeling so much better.
Tori has a background in racing having worked and ridden out for the Pitman's in Lambourn for a while. She treats horses from multi disciplines alongside other racing yards.
Tori is a registered therapist based in Frome covering a large area from Lambourn down through Wiltshire to Somerset, offering Sports Massage, Mctimoney-Corley, Bowen Therapy and photizo light therapy.
