A Double On New Year’s Day

New Year’s day saw a double for us here at Conkwell Lodge,

Jongleur d Etoiles scored for a second time at Catterick when he won the Go Racing In Yorkshire Season Ticket Handicap Hurdle over 3m 1 1/2f. The 6 year old ridden by Richie Mclernon battled on well when bumped on the run in to win by 1/2L for his owner J P McManus.

Malago Rose also had a long trip to Fakenham where she won the Mares novices Limited Handicap Hurdle by a very impressive 13L under Freddie Mitchell for her owner Mr K M Harris.

All our 5 runners ran well and all came home safe and sound.
