Starcrossed Lover Wins @ Windsor.

Starcrossed Lover the promising 5 year old gelding won the Fitzdares Royal Windsor Racecourse Maiden Hurdle over 2 miles, this being the first jumps meet here for 20 years.

The gelding won very comfortably under a confident ride by James Bowen to win by 3 1/2 L for his owner Mr. Anwar Badri.

This horse will be an exciting prospect for the remainder of the season.

Transmission ran a very impressive race at Cheltenham on Saturday just gone, he was given a great ride by James Bowen and was only beaten 2 3/4 L by Haiti Colours.

Hobb’s Delight and Celtic Fortune both running in the Conditional Jockeys Handicap Chase with Dylan Johnston and Jack Hogan taking the rides.
