A Double For Conkwell

Yesterday was a very busy day here at Conkwell Lodge with 9 runners split between 2 meetings.

5 horses headed off to Wincanton where the JP Mcmanus owned Jongleur d’Etoiles won the 3m1/2f Boxing Day Hospitality Available National Hunt Novices Handicap Hurdle with Richie Mclernon in the saddle by 2 1/4 Lengths.

Unfortunately Bucephalas had a nasty fall at the first, but everyone will be pleased to hear that he is all ok this morning albeit feeling a little bit sorry for himself!!

2 lorries left at 5am to head off to Market Rasen with 4 runners.

Narragansett ran a very good second under Connor O’Farrell in the 2m 1/2f Juvenile Hurdle only being beaten 1 1/2 Lengths.

Kelce won the 3m Discover What’s Trending At Rhino Casino Handicap Chase by an impressive 6 Lengths under a great ride from Connor O’ Farrel for owner M Cresswell.

most importantly all horses came home safe and sound !!
