What a Weekend !!

Wow what a weekend we have had here at Conkwell, it all started on Friday at sunny Bangor On Dee, when Hawaii Du Mestivel and Jacobs Acre racked up a nice double.

Hawaii won Division 1 of the Handicap hurdle by 9 1/2L under a great ride for Sam Twiston - Davis and owner Mrs Jane Gerard-Pearce making that his second win in 7 days

Jacobs Acre was also in the winners enclosure as he won Division 2 of the Handicap hurdle again ridden by Sam Twiston - Davis by 1/2L for his owner Ms S Exell.

Sunday was the last meeting in Jersey for 2024 and as a team we did really well by winning the 2 feature races.

Man Of The Sea won the Jersey Champion hurdle under a great ride from Danny Mullins and owner Dajam Ltd, making him the champion horse in Jersey for 2024.

Princess T finished a very respectful second to Man Of The sea making a fab 1, 2 for the team.

No Worries won the Jersey St Leger under a superb ride from Dylan Johnston for owners Dajam Ltd again, and Chelsea Annie put in a very good performance to finish 3rd, she has been a very consistent filly in her Jersey campaign this season.

Mike Burbidge of Dajam Ltd was Champion Owner for 2024 so well done Mike !!

We also had 2 runners at Fontwell where Batwomen ran a very good race to finish second after having over 250 days since her last run under a great ride from Brendon Powell,

Milanese Rose pulled up but she now heads off to persue her new career as a broodmare.
