The horses have been running very well this week,

We had 5 runners at Plumpton on Monday and had three 2nd’s,

Hobb’s Delight ridden by James Bowen was so unlucky just getting beaten in a photo finish by a nose, and both Man Of The Sea and Bella Cavella tried hard but just fell short.

Tuesday at Exeter

Earth King ridden by Harry Cobden for his owner Mr R M Penny won the Weatherby’s & Birdie Calenders H’Cap Hurdle by 3/4L. This 2m7f race was a Challenger Stayers Hurdle Series Qualifier.

Wednesday at Fontwell also proved to be a good day with

Super Sabre Sam winning the Maiden Hurdle by 51/2L with Brendon Powell in the saddle, for owner Mr D V Stevens, and Tuscan Rose finishing a very strong 2nd.

Today we have Inoui Machin at Ludlow and the weekend also looks a busy one.
